We were contacted by a great client out west to build an overland Lexus GX460. This rig would be purposely built for Baja and pulling an offroad trailer while covering long distances in comfort.
The goal was to do a build to pull an overland camper and explore Baja and the west in general. Starting with the suspension, it is built to handle higher speeds but also has the clearance if the client would like to other parts of the continent. The weight is well balanced and this rig truly drives better than it did from the factory.
It’s always enjoyable when a client lets us design a rig while providing input with what they want. There wasn’t a single aspect of this build that was skimped on and everything looks like it belongs. Our goal on these builds is bring your attention to the vehicle and not just have one component that catches your eye.
